Last Break Until Summer Holidays

Travel to Taipei Taiwan
I travelled to Taipei for eight days, three days too many. It is reasonably priced to travel the two hours by plane from Macau and definitely a place that you can travel to in a weekend. I didn’t plan to visit other parts of Taiwan and should have planned for it as there are many more sites to visit in Taiwan and only enough for about five days in the city of Taipei. I guess the next time I need to do more research. Not being able to plan the ‘out of the city excursions’ on short notice meant that in the end I explored all the parts of Taipei that I wanted to or not.
My favourites of the trip were walking down old Tamsui Market Street, biking through parts of the city, eating mango shaved ice, eating incredible grilled cheese sandwiches at Toasteria, eating pork dumplings, visiting the natural rock formations at Yehliu Geopark, shopping for inexpensive clothing items and having plenty of foot massages.
Taipei is beautified with artwork all over the city including on the subway walls.  There were a lot of green spaces which was a pleasure.
